We have friends!

In the past couple weeks, we have had the privilege of getting together with our new friends, Rick and Nancy. They (as well as their 3 adorable kids) live in Kathmandu and work in and around the Nepal area. Nancy actually grew up going to NWMC and it was a huge part of her becoming the awesome person she is today! When she heard Summer Service was coming to Nepal, she emailed us and what was just lunch at The Lazy Gringo (aka the best/only Arizona style mexican food in Nepal) became the start to a really great friendship! (Lazy Gringo is pictured below!)

Rick and Nancy have introduced us to the ins and outs of mission work. The girls and I were able to attend an incredible prayer meeting for human trafficking victims in Nepal that really impacted us and learn Nancy's newfound passion for ending it.

Rick loves music, and we were all able to go out and support him at a coffee house he played at. It was so fun to be around so many different nationalities and really experience the life of expats.
Plus they invited us over to their house for bbq. Legit, American as you can get grilled chicken and hot dogs, cole slaw, potato salad and doritos. Lets just say that the walk home was a little painful because we were all so full.

Thank you so much for your friendship and hospitality Rick and Nancy! We are so blessed by your friendship!
